Huawei’s Terminal brand Honor recently launched the Honor 8 Pro in India and the handset has now gone on sale via Amazon India.
To refresh, the handset, after unveiling in India was made available exclusively for Amazon Prime members to buy during the Amazon Prime Day sale that occurred on the same day.
Sporting a 4000mAh battery as one of its biggest highlights, the Honor 8 Pro also offers a dual rear camera configuration, 6GB of RAM, and a 5.7-inch QHD display.
Coming to the specs, the dual-SIM Honor 8 Pro runs Android 7.0 Nougat-based EMUI 5.1 that the company claims has an adaptive nature of preceding operating systems and 90 percent of core operations can be completed in 3 easy steps.
The smartphone features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) LTPS LCD display tagged with Gorilla Glass 3 for protection and is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
In terms of optics, the Honor 8 Pro bears a dual rear camera configuration that has two 12-megapixel sensors tagged with f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording.
Notably, one of the sensors captures images in RGB while the other takes the images in monochrome. At the front area, the handset packs an 8-megapixel sensor paired with a 77-degree wide-angle lens.
The Honor 8 Pro also offers 128GB of internal storage space that can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM setting.
