Last year ended with LeEco dwindling on their finances, especially with their Operations in India. This, however, has not dampened the OEM as just a few days gone into 2017 and we are already hearing that they have started works on a new smartphone to hit the market soon.
This new smartphone would be tagged with the moniker LeEco LeX659 which in fact is simply the Le 2S with a dual camera implementation on the back panel. This imaging unit would consist of two 13 megapixel camera that should deliver well outlined images with high qualities.
With such sensors, the handset proves to be quite the worthy competitor when compared to other dual cam phones currently available in the market. That is not all though as the LeX659 also has some other mouthwatering specs that should include a Full HD display with a 12 megapixel front camera above it, which is good news for all the selfie enthusiasts dispersed around the globe.
Since its still in its early stages, a handful of its specifications still remain in the dark, nonetheless, there is news that the manufacturers would be opting for MediaTek’s Helio X25 processor to be the chipset of choice for this upcoming 5.5 incher.
Also made more attractive is the selling price of this handset which is currently being set at $145 that would in turn make it the cheapest dual camera flagship smartphone to hit the market. 2017 looks to be a fun year and LeEco has already started it off by setting the standards high, let’s wait to see what becomes of this handset in the few coming weeks.
