Google Pixel 2 Available Offline for as Low as Rs. 49,999 Under Festive Offer

It’s good to finally see some good news about Google’s Pixel devices which has been receiving a lot of criticism following the release of the handset.


This latest news comes revealing that Google’s offline retail partners in India have brought the ‘’Pixel 2’’ Festive Offer that entails the sale of Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL at very affordable prices.

For somewhat obvious reasons, Google’s flagship Pixel 2 device has been brought down to a giveaway price of Rs. 49,999. The Pixel 2 XL, on the other hand, is said to be going for a price of Rs. 61,999. This offer is currently ongoing and is expected to end on the 14th of January.

The handset can be purchased via offline stores in India. Furthermore, the offer brings the Pixel 2 64GB version at Rs. 49,999, while the Pixel 2 128GB goes for Rs. 58,999. Also, the Pixel 2 XL 64GB model is being sold at Rs. 61,999, whilst the 128GB Pixel 2 XL sees a price of Rs. 70,999.

To refresh, the Pixel 2 comes with a 5-inch full-HD OLED display, and a fingerprint feature that the company claims is the fastest in the industry. The Pixel 2 XL, on the other hand, packs a 6-inch near edge-to-edge display console tagged with QHD resolution.

The Pixel 2 XL also brings a new feature called Active Edge that allows a user to squeeze the phone to trigger Google Assistant, similar to what we saw on HTC’s U11 device.

Both Pixel devices run Android Oreo and sports octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor (four 2.35GHz cores + four 1.9GHz cores), coupled with 4GB RAM.

As per storage, the handsets rolled out in 64GB and 128GB variants with unlimited online storage for photos and videos.

In the camera department, the latest flagship offerings bear 12.2-megapixel rear camera and at the front an 8-megapixel camera paired with portrait selfies, bokeh effect, OIS, and EIS, as well as Motion Photos.

The Pixel 2 is offered in Black, White and Blue color options, while the Pixel 2 XL comes in Black and White color options.


Fitted with a 2700mAh and 3520mAh batteries respectively, the handsets both pack connectivity options including USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0 + LE, stereo speakers, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC.
