Chinese smartphone maker, Gionee, has released two new mid-range handsets dubbed the M7 and M7 Power. Rolled out in Black, Champagne Gold, Sapphire Blue, Star Blue, and Maple Red color options, the Gionee M7 is sold at a price at CNY 2,799.
The M7 Power, on the other hand, comes at a price of CNY 1,999 and will be offered in Blue, Black and Gold color variants.
The Gionee M7 highlights a 6.01-inch FullView AMOLED display tagged with 18:9 2.5D curved glass and a screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels.
The handset is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P30 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and packs 64GB internal storage unit with an option to expand via microSD card (up to 256GB).
The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on the company’s Amigo OS 5.0 skin and uses a hybrid SIM card slot.
In the camera department, the handset comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, and at the front sports an 8-megapixel camera.
It measures, 157x76x7.2mm, weighs 180 grams and brings connectivity options including 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC.
Whilst housing a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support, the handset also features a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Coming to the Gionee M7 Power, the device sports a 6-inch 18:9 FullView display bearing a 720×1440 pixels screen resolution.
Powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space that can be expandable storage capacity via microSD card (up to 256GB).
It runs Amigo OS 5.0 developed on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and supports hybrid dual-SIM cards, the handset packs a 13-megapixel rear camera tagged with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF.
At the front, the handset comes with an 8-megapixel. It is fitted with a 5000mAh battery which also supports fast charging and has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
