Any device that comes with IP68 protection is generally water resistant and dust proof, while some are even shock proof. The certification means the device can stay under water for about 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters and will still be functioning perfectly.
While this should be enough for most Android phone users, the folks over at AGM are not satisfied with this and have a great lineup of new and upcoming rugged phones.
The AGM X1 is one such phone that the company has put through a cruel test – frozen inside a block of ice for 36 hours. Will the IP68 certified phone survive? Check out the video below.
Other than IP68 certification, the AGM X1 packs a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display, with 1080P resolution, a Snapdragon 617 SOC under the hood, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, 5400mAh battery and 13MP dual camera in the back along with a 5MP front camera.
Now the AGM X1 is officially available globally from GearBest. If you’re interested in an Android phone with rugged features and decent specs plus dual sim support and a large battery, this is a great bet.
