Things have been a little quite on the release front from the Chinese device maker Oukitel recently, with companies like Xiaomi, Vivoo, Ulefone hard on the tracks with new smartphones. People might have forgotten a little about the Chinese phone manufacturer who has apparently made a name for themselves by launching smartphones with enormous battery capacities.
Rumor reports have it the Oukitel is indeed working on a new device and hopes to steal customers from its rivals with a design overhaul.
The phone will allegedly be called the C3 and according to reports, it will be the first handset from Oukitel to feature a diamond shaped frame.
Through the past weeks, we were only plagued with rumors and not actual authentic images to back the said rumors concerning the C3 but as it would turn out, that is about to change with first new official pictures of the device surfacing.
According to what we were able to gather from these new pictures, the diamond design will predominantly be featured on the structural back cover of the device. The said covers will be available in three color variations of White, Gold and Blue.
Based on these pictures and what we know so far, the Oukitel C3 with come with MediaTek’s MT6580 SoC, and what appears to be 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The handset will feature a 5-inch AUO HD display.
On the camera front, we are suspecting something around 8MP for the rear sensor and 2MP selfie shooter. The device will be launched with Android 6.0 and a 2000mAh battery.
