HTC has always been a formidable opponent in the smartphone spectrum and they have proven this time and time again with their top-notch smartphones. The newest of their beastly handset set to hit the market is the flagship HTC U 11 which will be unleashed to go against already launched Xiaomi Mi 6, Samsung Galaxy S8+ and a few other monsters in the market.
These above-mentioned smartphones all come in with mouth-watering specs that might proof difficult to subdue in the market. However, the folks over at HTC has put a lot into this handset in terms of specifications that we believe the HTC U 11 has what it will take to stand against these other devices when it goes official in the few coming days.
Whilst we wait patiently for this handset to go official, the manufacturers dished out an image of the 128GB dual sim version of the U 11 which had all of its specifications listed out for us. This 128GB ROM has 6GB of RAM to back it up as well as they both accompany the Snapdragon 835 flagship chipset. If 128GB is not enough, then the microSD card slot made available is good news for you as you will be able to expand the memory to an additional 2TB.
The U 11 sports a 5.5 inch 2k display which is protected by a Corning Gorilla 5 glass held firmly in place by a well-crafted metallic chassis. This chassis is also said to be graced with IP57 certification making it both water and dust proof.
Unlike most flagships, they will be dropping the dual-cam implementation to replace it with a 12Mpix Ultra-pixel 3.0 sensor camera on the back panel having a f/1.9 aperture. Complementing it on the top of the front panel is a 16Mpix selfie snapper with a f/2.0 aperture.
The traditional fingerprint scanner also makes an appearance on this handset alongside other nifty implementations which include Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology, Hi-Res audio, their very own BoomSound technology and ultrasonic active noise cancellation and 3D audio recording.
The only vital information that was left out with regards to the specifications is the battery pack which we believe will come to light before this handset hits the market in the few coming days.
