Coolpad has just concluded with the launch of the Cool Play 6 handset. The company claims that the handset focuses at game enthusiast and packs a massive 4060mAh battery.
The Coolpad Cool Play 6 is said to be priced at CNY 1,499 and is currently up for registrations in China. The handset is also expected to go on sale from May 16 in the country.
In regards to specifications, the handset comes with a metal frame, fingerprint scanner and a dual camera setup sitting at the back.
The handset is being made available in soft gold and black colour variants, and the volume rockers, as well as the power button, are located on the right edge of the handset.
Dual speaker grilles are spotted at the bottom edge of the handset with the USB Type-C port occupying in the middle.
Furthermore, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and features a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) display.
Powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset coupled with Adreno 510 GPPU and 6GB RAM, the device also offers 64GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
As for optics, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 bears a dual camera setup with two 13-megapixel Sony sensors for monochrome and depth of field functions.
The main sensor sports 6P lens, autofocus, dual-tine LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. At the front, the handset comes with an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
The handset is fitted with a 4060mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 252 hours on standby, 9 hours of internet browsing, 8 hours of video watching and 6 hours of intense gaming.
It packs connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The device measures 152×75.2×8.45mm and weighs 170 grams.
