As latest reports would have it, Coolpad has just successfully launched the Cool M7 handset in China. Talking about price, the mobile device goes for a starting price of CNY 2,699 and is expected to go on sale in the country on starting from August 26.
As it is, the handset rolled out in Matte Black and Blue color variants. Sporting a slim metallic unibody, the Cool M7 device packs a single-camera configuration at the back area.
Mounted in the home button is a fingerprint sensor, whilst the volume and power keys occupy the right edge of the handset.
The handset also supports USB Type-C port situated at the bottom edge of the handset, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack seated at the top corner.
In regards to specs, the Cool M7 device runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS based on Cool UI. Sporting a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display tagged with 2.5D glass on top, the dual SIM device is powered by the 14nm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC equipped with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The handset also comes with 64GB inbuilt storage with an option to expand via a MicroSD card configuration.
Coming to optics, the Coolpad Cool M7 bears a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 rear camera sensor tagged with f/1.8 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash.
At the front area, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel selfie camera tagged with f/2.2 aperture, and 79.8-degree field of view.
Backed by a 3200mAh battery, the handset also comes with connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/ 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB 2.0 Type-C. The handset measures 151.16×74.32×6.9mm and weigh 152 grams.
