Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom handset has finally been made available in the US at a price of $329. The handset can now be purchased via online retailers in the country as well as the official US site.
Interestingly, the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom was earlier set to be priced at $399 in the US, however, it seems like the company had to change its decision when it opted out of specifications upgrade. Clearly, that move resulted in the reduction of the launch price for the handset.
In regards with the main highlights of the handset, the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom rolls out with a dual rear camera setup, coupled with one 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX362 sensor and a f/1.7 aperture as well as a 12-megapixel rear camera featuring 2.3x optical zoom.
The primary camera setup sports a 25mm wide-angle main lens. At the front area, the handset comes with a 13-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX214 sensor, a f/2.0 aperture, and a screen flash feature.
The handset also comes with a support functionality for RAW file format and the Android 7.0 Nougat update, as well as a dedicated Manual mode that photography enthusiasts might find exciting.
According to the company, the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom is the “thinnest and lightest” handset that sports a 5000mAh battery. The dual-SIM handset is 7.9mm thick and weighs 170 grammes.
As per specs, the handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor the device offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
