Sometime last month, Motorola announced the release of its latest Android 7.0 Nougat update for its Moto Z and Moto Z Force handset. The Mobile Company which has also had its break light in the smartphone industry promised that its two Smartphone devices will get the update before the end of November.
Now the Android 7.0 Nougat has been globally rolled out to the Moto Z and Moto Z Force. For those that simply want more details, including specific information as per country and carrier, you can visit the company’s website.
While many are still arguing the fact that no change log was released by the company mentioning the exact changes its two models are getting, a recent report claimed that the update for both phones will be compatible with Google’s Daydream.
The company which reportedly highlights its Moto Z and Moto Z Force as the first smartphones from another manufacturer other than Google has now being recognised by Google as Daydream-ready devices. Before then, only Google’s own Pixel devices were could boast Daydream-ready capability.
So far, Motorola has released in select markets, the Android 7.0 nougat update for its Moto G4 and G4. With this rollout, these variants will also be added to the update devices list.
Furthermore, the company also revealed its other Motorola handsets that will receive the Nougat which includes: Moto G Play (4th Gen), Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Play and Moto Z Play Droid.
