Alcatel Idol 4 Pro Smartphone With Windows 10 Mobile Launched

Going by latest reports, Alcatel has launched the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro that comes with the Windows 10 Mobile OS. The handset is currently up for pre-order in Europe and is been sold at a starting price of GBP 419.99.

Interested buyers can get the handset via Microsoft’s online store. Apart from the operating system, the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro is pretty much the same with the Alcatel Idol 4S that released last year.

In regards to design, the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro is no different from the Idol 4S that also came with a metal frame and a fingerprint scanner at the back. As of now, the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro is only being offered in a Gold color variant.

Coming to the specification, the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display.

The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM speed. It comes with 64GB storage space that can be expanded using the microSD slot (up to 512GB).
The dual-SIM device Alcatel Idol 4 Pro offers a 21-megapixel rear camera tagged with touch focus and dual-LED flash.

To refresh, the Android version comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with real-time face beautification and LED flash at the front area.

Fitted with a 3000mAh battery, the phone measures 153.9×75.4×6.99mm and weighs 152 grams. The company touts the battery and claims it can charge within 95 minutes via the Quick Charge version 2.0 as well as offering 20 hours of talk time and 420 hours of standby time.

The handset packs connectivity options including 4G LTE (Cat 6.), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C port (OTG support). On board, sensors consist of an accelerometer, proximity, light, e-compass, gyroscope, and hall switch.
