Some few weeks back, we heard news with regards to the arrival of a new mid-tier smartphone manufactured by Blackview with the moniker Blackview P2. Now, as this handset has just started showing its face up for pre-sale, the OEM has just introduced another less powered variant to be called the Blackview P2S.
As per design, there seems to be no visible difference between the two handsets and majority of the insides still remain identical some of which includes, the 5.5 inch Full HD display, 8MP + 13MP front and back camera sensors respectively, fast charge enabled 6000mAh battery pack and four color variants.
We saw the P2 go official with the new MT6750T chipset, nonetheless, this is where the difference between the two smartphones lie as the upcoming P2S would be powered by the old MT6753 processor. This Chipset would be coupled up with 3GB RAM and an internal storage space of 32GB which would be lesser than the 4GB RAM and the 64GB RAM configuration coupled up on the original Blackview P2.
The handset still comes in pre-loaded with Android Marshmallow operating system but users would get the chance to upgrade it to the new Android Nougat OS through over the air updates. Also thrown into the mix is a circular fingerprint scanner at the back panel of the phone for obvious purposes.
The official launching date of this handset still remains in the dark, however, the do know that the Blackview P2 is currently available for purchase over at the online retailer, Aliexpress for a price tag of just $189.99
