After all, the point of having technology in our lives is to bridge gaps and make things more accessible. And given how important our relationships are, it should come as no surprise that there are several Android apps for couples in long distance relationships.
Don’t worry, you can use these apps even if you are not in a long distance relationship, as long as you enjoy sharing things, chatting and just having fun with your partner while the two of you are away during the day.
Couple – Relationship App
Couple is the top relationship app on our list. They have a good set of features and an appealing, contemporary design which isn’t too bland nor over the top. While there were several issues in the early versions of the app, the developers have been working on tweaking them. Messages are generally delivered on time and the app features the typical security and privacy options alongside some really cute stickers which can be used like emoticons. You can unlock most sticker packs by simply sharing the app on your social networks.
Avocado – Chat for Couples
Avocado is one of the earliest entries into couple apps on the Play Store. However, the app has been riddled with issues like slow delivery of messages, lag and crashing. Most of these issues have been fixed by now though and the app is still a worthy contender given the features it offers (like thumb kisses) and the user-friendly interface.
Between – Private Couples App
Between is a couples’ app with emphasis on sharing. You can set up a shared calender with your significant other, have a dedicated gallery for special moments all tagged and marked and also chat 1 on 1, use stickers and send voice messages. The interface is great, the app looks good and is definitely worth a try.
LoveByte – for Couples in Love
LoveByte is the kind of app you’ll either love or hate. While it offers the same standard features along with some special ones, the main gripe we had was with it’s overall design and interface. It is obvious that the app targets the Asian youth, but might be a little too cheesy for most. However, it is still a solid choice if you can look past its design and theme.
