Since September is gone, we’re publishing our list of the 10 Best New (and Free) Android Games from September 2014. There were a lot of new games as always but we sorted out the best from the good for you to download and try out on your Android phones and tablets.
#1. Fifa 15 Ultimate Team
The new iteration of the popular football game series from EA Sports takes the first spot. Fifa 15 for Android has over 10,000 of your favorite players and hundreds of licensed teams. The games graphics are truly amazing (better than old Fifa versions on the PC) and it runs well on Android devices with dedicated GPUs. You can build your own team or play your favorite club if you want. However, the game is over 1GB in size and also has in-app purchases (which can be disabled).
#2. Geopet Saga
Number 2 on our list is Geopet Saga, a game RPG (Role Playing Games) fans will love. There are more than 800 quests and 16 different zones as you make your way through Rivia, a fantasy land. You’ll be able to make friends on the way, choose allies and have brawls against your enemies. If you’re a fan of RPG and have a good Android tablet, this is a must download.
Sorry, the game is no longer available on the Play Store.
#3. Bakery Story: Honey
You’re probably familiar with Bakery Story, the game which lets you run your own virtual bakery. Now you can download it’s latest iteration, Bakery Story: Honey. Once again, you can build a bakery you want, and work towards meeting the needs of your customers with delicious treats.
#4. Beach Buggy Racing
If you liked Beach Buggy, you’ll enjoy this sequel as well. Players get to enjoy off-road kart racing with a twist of action and explosions. There are 12 racing tracks to play and lots of rivals with their specific personality traits. You can also customize your buggy and get different power-ups to beat the competition. If you’re looking for a fun racing game, give this a try.
#5. Real Cricket™ Champions League
Cricket games haven’t done as well as Football games due to several issues and complications of the game (it’s not a kick ball into goal type of sport). However, every new cricket game on Android is worth a shot if you’re a fan. Real Cricket Champions League gives you the option to play with T20 teams and use licensed equipment (game is sponsored). There will be issues like miss-timed shots and all, but like I said, if you’re a fan, give it a go.
#6. Candy Blast Mania: School Days
Your typical Candy Crush inspired game, Candy Blast Mania is still a great time pass, especially for boring bus/tube rides and lectures (at your own risk). The game has over 400 levels, which means it will be a while before you’re done with it.
#7. Parking Jam
Based on the classic 2D top-view interface, Parking Jam is a fun, addictive and good-looking game. You get to choose from around 50 different cars and park them in various spots in different levels. This is a great game for some quick entertainment and definitely worth a download.
#8. Road Smash: Crazy Racing!
Though a little buggy, Road Smash: Crazy Racing is a lot of fun if you’re into car games. The graphics are decent, and there is just enough variety to keep you hooked for some time. Take control of the road and dominate racers who deserve a smash! You can also upgrade your cars and race against online opponents.
#9. Ice Crush
Not another Candy Crush inspired game you say? Well, don’t worry, Ice Crush isn’t all that bad and if you want a fresh dose of match-3 games, this is a good choice. There are daily rewards for players and you can expect to play about 200 levels as of now. Have fun!
#10. Swat 2
We saved Swat 2 for last. This is an excellent FPS (first person shooter) for Android in which you get to play SWAT and take down terrorists around the world. There are tons of weapons to choose from and you can even upgrade them for additional effect. Weather changes and night mode fights are also features you’ll appreciate. If you’re big on FPS games, this deserves a download.
That’s all for now. Next month we will publish our October list, till then, have fun with these games and keep coming back for more useful posts, app updates and game reviews here.
